about
I wrote this song when I was still in High School. So, a really long time ago. The song actually doesn't have much meaning besides having teenage angst and not being impressed with my teacher's teaching methods. There may be a hint of Tenacious D inspiration in there as well. If you ever get to see me play this on guitar. You will witness the infamous "Triple-Pull-Off" guitar method. Which I "invented" to write this song.
lyrics
I've been so many places, I don't even really care
I've been so left and right, up and down, and in the air
I've been to mountains and the valleys, watched the water pass
I tried to keep up but I really don't mind being last
Come on and school me
Just try and school me
You can't teach me
I know everything
I saw a camel, so I went and jumped up on its back
It took me to the dessert, through a sandstorm, to a trap
I drank some water just to find out it was a mirage
My lungs are filled with sand, but still I keep on walking strong
Come on and school me
Just try and school me
You can't teach me
I know everything
I'll go and sink or swim in the ocean, oh so blue
I'll swim up onto shore, so excited to see you
You little sexy devil, snap your tail make it crack
And take me back to hell and teach me how to really sweat
Come on and school me
Just try and school me
You can't teach me
I know everything

piano at 2-years-old. I later learned drums and eventually guitar. Then I started singing and songwriting in my teenage years.
Currently, I reside in Selkirk with loving wife and 2 children. I own and operate Pick This Production Recording Studio and enjoy sharing my music with all....more
