I started working before I was thirteen; used to busk on the docks, down on Gimli Beach Made enough every single day, to go to G & C, maybe rent a movie This was summer every night and day, every day and night, it was a dream to me I started working before I was thirteen; in a little prowler camper by the private beach When I grow up I'll scream and yell I strike and I strum this guitar I'll play and I'll play until I die That's a promise I made, since the day you were gone, oh yeah A little older now, but not too wise, I keep strumming this guitar for some lonely eyes Invite some friends down to moonlight bay, have a couple of brews, go swim in the sea Oh, I never will forget those nights, how we lived every day, it was a dream to me A little older now, but not too wise, down in Gimli south beach, on the private side When I grow up I'll scream and yell I strike and I strum this guitar I'll play and I'll play until I die That's a promise I made, since the day you were gone, oh yeah I started working before I was thirteen; used to busk on the docks, down on Gimli Beach A little older now, but not too wise, I keep strumming this guitar for some lonely eyes I started working before I was thirteen; used to busk on the docks, down on Gimli Beach A little older now, but not too wise, I keep strumming this guitar for some lonely eyes I started working before I was thirteen; used to busk on the docks, down on Gimli Beach A little older now, but not too wise, I keep strumming this guitar for some lonely eyes I started working before I was thirteen; used to busk on the docks, down on Gimli Beach A little older now, but not too wise, I keep strumming this guitar for some lonely eyes

Think back to the river, think back to the day When you tossed bad memories and watched them float away Think back to the moment, everything was okay Till your mind was empty, you just watched them, you watched them float away I remember as a young boy, young boy, I remember in a dream I was fishing after midnight, while you gut and cleaned I remember as a young boy, young boy, still remember everything All the things that you taught me, until my memory fades, till my memory fades Ooooo, till my memory fades Ooooo, till my memory fades Till my memory fades, till my memory fades, till my memory fades Think back to the river, think back to the day When you tossed bad memories and watched them float away Think back to the moment, everything was okay Till your mind was empty, you just watched them, you watched them float away Think back to the river, think back to the day When you tossed bad memories and watched them float away Think back to the moment, everything was okay Till your mind was empty, you just watched them, you watched them float away

Hey, I've been ok, since you've been away, I've been ok Alone, alone I stay, my greatest fear, it's to the end of days One day, I'll meet you, you'll break my heart, leave me into Apart, my friends all know, the only cure, is to drink at home, and they tell me Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Keep saying and believing in that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah I got my head in the skies I'm singing Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that Today, today I pray, I pray for pain, I've been ok Evening, I watch the rain, as I walk, along the grey I sit here, I think all day, one million thoughts, run through my brain Darkness, it leaves my soul, thanks to my friends, I tell them Skal, so they tell me Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Keep saying and believing in that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah I got my head in the skies I'm singing Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Keep saying and believing in that Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah I got my head in the skies I'm singing Hey Yeah, it's a wonderful day yeah Just keep tellin' me tellin' me that

Just Feel 04:07
There was a place that filled a void Where you could dance and sing in the mid of night Where they felt the music and knew every word that you sang I imagine a floor filled with 50,000 strong Nothing else like this nothing felt wrong Oh, how I miss these times, how I miss this place When the crown breaks down and there's no one around I want to be next with you When the crown breaks down and they clear these grounds I want to stand here with you Oh when the city lights go dim at night, I want you right here in my arms When the stage tears down and the lights go out I want to feel, just feel So much time has past since I picked up this old piece of wood I threw on some string, maybe I'll sing you a tune But I miss the stage and I miss those lights And the words you sang, they burn deep inside Everything about it always felt so right When the crown breaks down and there's no one around I want to be next with you When the crown breaks down and they clear these grounds I want to stand here with you Oh when the city lights go dim at night, I want you right here in my arms When the stage tears down and the lights go out I want to feel I want to feel, oh I wanna feel, oh just feel When the crown breaks down and there's no one around I want to be next with you When the crown breaks down and they clear these grounds I want to stand here with you Oh when the city lights go dim at night, I want you right here in my arms When the stage tears down and the lights go out I want to feel, oh When the crown breaks down And there's no one around I want to be next with you When the crown breaks down and they clear these grounds I want to stand here with you Oh when the city lights go dim at night, I want you right here in my arms When the stage tears down and the lights go out I want to feel I want to feel, oh just feel

Where you going to hide when wolves knock on your door And where you going to find the money they adore It's clear and plain to see that I am the demon that is standing out your door So pay up your debts, you'll see I'll come around no more You don't have the meat they crave your flesh will have to do They'll take everything, but your life, that's just what they'll do They don't care about a single cent you have they'll just take everything from you So where will you hide when wolves knock on your door Cage your windows and board up all your doors Stop the demon with the hammer you adore Don't give up you'll see that you can beat the demons that try and break down your doors So where will you hide when wolves knock on your door

Fishing on the river There's something in the water here now I caught her by the sweater Pulled up from the river bed yeah I think you need some shelter I think you need some food and rest yeah I think you need some water So I tossed her back into the Red yeah Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Later on the drive home There's something hanging from the bridge yeah I think it was her sweater Red shining mirror of the Red yeah I think you need some shelter I think you need some food and rest now I think you need some water So I tossed her back into the Red yeah Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion Carry on, Carrion

I've been so many places, I don't even really care I've been so left and right, up and down, and in the air I've been to mountains and the valleys, watched the water pass I tried to keep up but I really don't mind being last Come on and school me Just try and school me You can't teach me I know everything I saw a camel, so I went and jumped up on its back It took me to the dessert, through a sandstorm, to a trap I drank some water just to find out it was a mirage My lungs are filled with sand, but still I keep on walking strong Come on and school me Just try and school me You can't teach me I know everything I'll go and sink or swim in the ocean, oh so blue I'll swim up onto shore, so excited to see you You little sexy devil, snap your tail make it crack And take me back to hell and teach me how to really sweat Come on and school me Just try and school me You can't teach me I know everything

I wish I could be, some place far away, where the people are plain and true Where I could walk with, freedom and stride, without sarcastic salutes You don't know me, you don't know me, you don't know me I don't owe you a single thing, you don't own me, I'm so lonely I wish I could be, a happy man, just knowing that I was free Far from the stage, and the city lights, away from the cliquey scenes You don't know me, you don't know me, you don't know me I don't owe you a single thing, you don't own me, I'm so lonely I wish I could fix, the tormented man, the one behind lock and key Don't want to be, the people's choice, why can't they just let me be You really don't know me, you don't know me, you don't know me I don't owe you a single thing, you don't own me, I'm so lonely You really don't know me, you don't know me, you don't know me I don't owe you a single thing, you don't own me, I'm so lonely I wish I could be, a happy man, just knowing that I was free

I'm up all night counting, I can't go to sleep This darkness, it eats me, aware of my being How we're all built, I am super aware That we're all just dying and that's what makes me scared And I can't get this out of my mind I can't get this out of my mind I'll lay awake all night then die But, I can't get this out of my mind I spend all day pacing, I hate all this light It's all so confusing, I'm awake I'm alive But how could this be, I surely died in my sleep Is this heaven or hell or am I just stuck in a dream And I can't get this out of my mind I can't get this out of my mind I'll lay awake all night then die But, I can't get this out of my mind I can't get this out of my mind I can't get this out of my mind I'll lay awake all night then die But, I can't get this out of my mind I'm up all night counting, I can't go to sleep This darkness, it eats me, aware of my being But how could this be, I surely died in my sleep

I don't know where I'm going I've been here before So dark and so lonely The places I go But I, I'm falling Back and forth through and through Sometimes, I wonder How I ended up with you You, really brighten up my hue I don't know how to get there I've been here before Mornings come too early Darkest days gone But I, I'm falling Back and forth through and through Sometimes, I wonder How I ended up with you You, really brighten up my hue But I, I'm falling Back and forth through and through Sometimes, I wonder How I ended up with you I, I'm falling Back and forth through and through Sometimes, I wonder How I ended up with you You, really brighten up my hue

Where have you been these days, I hardly see your face Are you on the other side, are you singing grace Are you singing grace, are you singing grace And if I find that place, you know I'd stay all day And if they don't let me in, you know I'd find another way Why did you go so far, I miss what you say I hope you're happy now, and singing everyday Singing everyday, are you singing grace And if I find that place, you know I'd stay all day And if they don't let me in, you know I'd find another way And if I find that place, you know I'd stay all day And if they don't let me in, you know I'd find another way If I find that place, I'd stay all day If they don't let me in, I'll find another way, I'll find another way
